Project Coordinator

JOB SCOPE

Purchasing & Subcontracting Executive (Construction Procurement)

JOB SCOPE

  • Responsible in updating the Registered Supplier/ Subcontractor Master List by researching and evaluating prospective suppliers which is maintaining and updating supplier/ subcontractor information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
  • Responsible for all aspects of Procurement (including sourcing, cost comparison, supplier selection, negotiation with suppliers, ordering, PO, invoicing & follow-up delivery schedule).
  • Responsibilities in construction involve coordinating the procurement schedule with the Project Manager and the project construction schedule.
  • Perform purchases, delivery planning, and delivery control of materials, equipment & machinery (including Subcontractor Job Orders).
  • Work closely with suppliers on inquiries, price negotiation, contracts & credit terms.
  • Working closely with the QS for costing on tenders and quotations.
